Train the Trainer- CPR / First Aid Instructor
Interested in teaching CPR/AED and First Aid classes under the American Safety and Health Institute? We have an awesome Train the Trainer program available just for you!
Trainees first become certified at the highest level of basic life support (BLS CPR and Universal First Aid). Next, trainees complete an intensive IDC (Instructor Development Course) which consists of lecture and written examination. Trainees must also complete a skills demonstration as part of the IDC. Trainees have the option of observing, co-teaching and teaching actual students as part of their training prior to completion of the IDC.
Graduates are given instructor status within 48 business hours of successful completion of the course and must affiliate with an authorized ASHI training center in order to instruct classes.
